Description

Goji berries are the ripe fruits of Lycium barbarum from the Solanaceae family. Harvested in summer and autumn when the fruits turn orange-red, they are dried until the skin wrinkles, then sun-dried until the outer skin is hard and the flesh is soft, and the fruit stalks are removed. Or dried at low temperature with hot air, and the fruit stalks are removed.
